Learning Support Center
In alignment with BSSD’s schedule to return to full-time, in-person instruction, on January 11th, the Learning Support Center will be operating January 4th-8th, 8:15am-3:30pm: (Cohort 1: Monday & Wednesday, Cohort 2: Tuesday & Thursday).
The Learning Support Center (LSC) is a community program for K-5th Grade Big Sky School District (BSSD) students. It provides distance-learning support and childcare to working families. Space is limited and priority is given to elementary students of essential workers and households with critical need: the parents or guardians work and are unable to work from home. The LSC follows the Cohort Schedule provided by BSSD. This program is funded by the Montana CARES Act and the Big Sky Relief Fund. Special thanks to our community partnerships that have allowed this program to be successful: Geyser WhiteWater, Bucks T-4, Montana Canyon Cab, Roxy’s Supermarket, Big Sky Medical Center, and BSSD.
Location: Geyser WhiteWater Building
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-3:30pm and 8:15am-2:30pm on Fridays. The LSC is open (following the regular cohort schedule) during PIR days and it is closed on holidays.
Price: $200 per month. Registration is monthly, no drop ins.
