Montessori-inspired educational approach promotes student-driven, interactive and collaborative learning

Individualized learning pathways are tailored to the interests and goals of students to optimize engagement; pacing of student learning is tied to the social, emotional and academic development of each child

Students must demonstrate a high level of understanding before progressing

The Discovery Theme Studies approach purposefully integrates art, history, science, and social studies throughout the curriculum.  A dedicated multi-use Makerspace support STEAM fundamentals (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) as well as project-based and curiosity-driven exploration of interdisciplinary topics

Fall, spring and summer sessions create twelve months of continuous learning opportunities for uninterrupted academic growth and progress

Mixed-age classrooms and multi-generational mentoring programs serve as scaffolding for the social and emotional health of students, and promote leadership, independence, and role modeling

A whole-child focus helps develop compassion, empathy, kindness and respect for self, others and the environ- ment; we use multiple measures of assessment to determine student growth
