ACT Prep Course (non-Discovery students)

ACT Prep is a series of courses offered on Sunday nights intended to provide baseline academic skills and knowledge that will serve students well in high school and in testing. These include close reading practice, basic grammar and other English usage rules, analysis of graphs and other visual data, and tips on how to quickly recognize and solve math problems. The course begins with a proctored ACT exam on January 6 to help students understand their baseline and ends with another  proctored exam on February 24 in conclusion to measure growth. Standardized test taking strategies, a school and life skill, will also be addressed. The cost is free for Discovery high school students, $200 for all others. Scholarships are available. Fee includes the Princeton Review Cracking the ACT Practice Book (2019 Edition)
