What We Offer

Our mixed-age Early Childhood classroom serves preschool ready children ages 3 to 6. Our Early Childhood program is based on the premise that young children flourish with gentle guidance and the freedom to work at their own pace. Our program follows the Montessori model and incorporates educational approaches that stimulate independence and social-emotional-academic development.

Independence

Individualized curriculum, self paced academics, and developmental growth allows for pride and ownership.

Confidence

Familiarity with peers, teachers, and classroom fosters capability and confidence.

Leadership

Low-ratio, mixed aged learning environment allows for practice being a leader and contributing community member.

Passion

Given the opportunity to self-regulate and truly understand the learning process develops into a life long love for learning.

The Importance of the Kindergarten Year:

The Kindergarten year or the third year, is the final step in our Early Childhood three year cycle. The children engage in a low ratio, multi-aged learning environment preparing to enter first grade with individualized curriculum and assessments. The Kindergarten year acts as the bridge between the the first two years of concrete fundamentals to the fruition of the advanced work, becoming the foundation of the child’s abstract understanding of learning.
